The Waiting Place

If you’re the type of person, like me, who wonders many times why things happen, this is a wonderful reminder that in each of our seeming setbacks, delays or difficulties, God has and would like to bring something wonderful from and through it! Eileen does a great job at recreating many of her own personal stories and helping you as a reader feel what she was feeling. She’s a great story teller.

I like how it takes many of those situations and relationships we all experience at some point in our life, things which can be challenging and difficult, and help us see just how precious life and each of us are.

I’ve greatly enjoyed this book, and have kept it by my bedside as an easy read for little moments throughout the day – when I get up in the morning, winding down after a long day or at little moments here or there. It’s been something that helps me think, think back on my life, my experiences, what I have learned from them, and see if there is anything else I may not have seen at first glance. And for the future, I want to see the things I experience much more in this light – what more is there in each situation or person that comes my way that I can learn from, that I can enjoy, that I can take with me and treasure out of my own “Waiting Places”.
