I just finished reading "Strike it Rich with Pocket Change" by Ken Potter and Dr. Brian Allen. It brought back many childhood memories; times when coin and stamp collection was one of our favorite pass times as children. And now reading about this angle of coin collecting, things take on a whole new light! I was happy to see my kids get into it as well and my daughter wants to start applying some of her newly learned skills in seeing if she can spot and find some of these treasures.
I'm no expert on the subject, but I know that I really enjoyed the book, the way it was present easily, simply and gives the tools needed for a beginner like me to feel they can do it too. With the photos, the comments and details I look forward to trying it out for myself just as soon as I find a good magnifying glass, collecting pocket change as well as rolls of change from the bank all to see what I can find!
